Did you know that the library subscribes to about 90 periodicals? (That’s library lingo for magazines and newspapers.) Click here for a list.
We’ve got magazines for kids and teens, magazines in Spanish, magazines that cover subjects from architecture to weight watching, plus four daily newspapers. Also, we have nice comfy chairs around the fireplace where you can curl up and read.
Relax and browse the latest issue of People, Newsweek, Seattle, or Smithsonian, or whatever floats your boat. The newest issue of each magazine is for reading in the library, but three year’s worth of back issues can be checked out.
So the next time you’re in the library, check out the periodicals. We’ve most likely got magazines that support your interests, and others that might just pique your interest on something new or teach you something about the world around you.
